Town Hall in Kőszeg

Kőszeg

The Town Hall in Kőszeg is perhaps one of the few public buildings in Hungary that has retained its original purpose since its inception, as it has served as the venue for meetings and judgments by the city's leaders since the 14th-15th centuries. It was referred to as the city council from 1950 and has functioned as the mayor's office since 1990. Its current form dates back to the 1820s. Decorative crests adorn its facade.
