Bechtold István Visitor Center and Chernel Garden

The visitor center of the Őrség National Park Directorate, located in Kőszeg, can be an ideal destination for nature-loving hikers and families alike. Adjacent to the visitor center is the Chernel Garden, where a facility for caring for injured birds operates, allowing visitors to observe live birds up close (e.g., owls, red-footed falcons, storks). Here you can also find Hungary's only living protected plant showcase trail (e.g., Banat peony, Teleki flower, broad-leaved bellflower).

Crystal Tower

The spectacular climbing and adventure trail having a crystal structure of three layers, composed using the latest technology is unique in Hungary, and all generations gain something from it. The Crystal Tower offers an adventure for 120 persons simultaneously. The trail having a length of more than one kilometre, the giant swing, and the Flying Fox slide of nearly 200 metres is specifically suitable for multi-day entertainment with family or friends. When organising team building events for companies or skill developing adventure trainings for managers, spectacular and positive results can be achieved by adding low and high rope garden elements.

Jurisics Castle - Kőszeg

Kőszeg Museum

The Tábornokház (Commander's House) is one of the distinctive buildings in the medieval city center of Kőszeg, located on Jurisics Square. Here is the headquarters of the City Museum with offices, warehouses, databases, libraries, and a restoration workshop. The Tábornokház hosts two permanent exhibitions: the Kőszeg Crafts and Guilds, occupying most of the building, and the famous athletes of Kőszeg displayed in the Heroes Tower. The Kőszeg Crafts and Guilds exhibition showcases archaeological finds, 16th-century weapons and objects, historical artifacts related to the city, and items from Kőszeg's crafts and guilds.

Tóth Pincészet

If you are in Kőszeg, you simply must taste the local wines!  The small town has 700 years of wine culture, and grape and wine production have defined its life for centuries. The Tóth Winery is a family business, where the first bottling plant was founded at the turn of the century and still produces the best wines of the region, such as Kékfrankos, Zweigelt, Rosé, Tramini and Green Veltelini.

The Kisfalud Wildlife Park Association and Friendship Circle was founded in 2016 with the aim of raising attention to the Wildlife Park in Kisfalud and the natural values of the village. In addition to learning about the animals, there is also the possibility to feed and show the animals, as well as to go cycling in the village.

Eszterházy castle - Fertőd

Visit the Eszterházy family's 18th century baroque castle, known as the "Hungarian Versailles". The guided tours include: the summer dining room, sala terrena, Apollo Hall, the chapel building and the exhibition "The Storied Treasures of the Esterházys" in the palm house.

The guided tour lasts approximately 50 minutes.
