Jeli Arboretum

The Jeli Arboretum, spread across five hectares of land, is a marvel located approximately a 45-minute drive from our hotel. In this beautiful garden, visitors can explore forest communities from China, Japan, America, the Caucasus, and the Balkans. Among the countless planted tree species, visitors can take a pleasant stroll and admire the diverse plant and animal life provided by the arboretum.

Within the park, there is also a 130-meter-long canopy walkway, which provides a fantastic experience for both young and old alike. Informational QR codes placed on signboards help in observing the local bird species more closely amidst the pine cones and needles.

Additionally, the arboretum features a unique panoramic observation tower, standing nearly 20 meters tall, symbolizing the characteristic motif of folk architecture in the Őrség region, the bell tower.
