Hétforrás

Hétforrás is one of Kőszeg's most beloved hiking destinations, intersected by several famous hiking trails, including the National Blue Trail, Alpannonia, and the Iron Curtain Trail.

Guests starting from the Greenfield Hotel can reach the Kőszeg Mountains in just under half an hour.

As the name suggests, Hétforrás was intentionally designed to have seven outflows. Small stone tablets indicate to curious eyes that the openings commemorate the seven chieftains of the Hungarian conquest. Local folklore holds that whoever tastes the water from all seven springs will have their heart's deepest desire fulfilled.
